Media Frenzy

Firstly, it's been another busy day of organising tour details, particularly this Sundays leg from London to Dover which is 13 riders strong now. There is a big  lunch at a pub for supporters in Sittingbourne along the way, everyone is welcome !  More details on this opening leg of the tour and those riders will come in tomorrow's blog.

The ride got coverage today from the National press in the Metro newspaper:-

Which comes on top of existing articles from local papers The Essex Chronicle

And my home town, The Maldon and Burnham:-

Hats off to The Essex Chronicle for adding the most details about Bowel Cancer. Their newspaper article (rather than online article) has extra details on Bowel cancer and how to look out for its symptoms. This is the message that I have been most keen to promote - raising awareness of bowel cancer is one of the key objectives of the ride.

The funds kept rolling in today as a result of all this media interest , with the total now surging through £21k, quite remarkable.

Thank you again everyone.
